There are many course-building platforms available, and choosing the right one depends on your specific needs and preferences. In general there two types of platforms:
All-in-One Platforms like Squarespace and Kajabi that offer a comprehensive set of features, including website and landing pages building, email and course hosting. They are gold if you don't already have a website or want an integrated solution.
Course Building Platforms like Teachable or Searchie that provide options for integrating course content with your existing site. They are great if you already have a website that is working for you on different platform such as Wordpress or Wix.

The next step is to look at the platforms features, pricing and support. Usually platforms offer several pricing plans that often come with different transaction fee percentages (the higher the monthly plan the lower the transcation fee). Choose the pricing that suit your current budget, you can always switch to higher plan later.
Once you narrow down to two platforms test it out. Most platforms offer free trials or demo versions so take advantage of those. Set up a free account and check their course templates if they suit your brand and your course needs and how easy or difficult it is to customize it. Check also available integrations with your website, payment and email provider as well as ecommerce features like discounts and promotions.
